No Severe Weather Expected

(AccuWeather, Inc. State College, PA)   No areas of organized severe weather are expected through Tuesday. However, isolated thunderstorms will develop over portions of Florida and the upper Midwest.  A cold front will slowly sweep southward across Florida Monday night and Tuesday. Isolated thunderstorms and heavy showers will be the primary impact along this front as it presses southward cutting into warm and moist air. A separate cold front will move across the Northern Plains tonight and slice from northwest to southeast across eastern Iowa, southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois and Michigan Tuesday. This front will lift warm and moist air spreading northward into this region ahead of the front on Tuesday and a few thunderstorms may develop. Conditions in both of these areas do not look favorable for the development of strong or severe storms. Again, the main threat will be heavy rainfall which can significantly reduce visibilities and lead to ponding on roadways, so be careful when traveling.
