Stephanie and James Gamble, paid a visit to the weekend crew at NewsChannel 9.
Carson got the opportunity to meet and talk weather with Meteorologist Jim Teske.

Takes First Place at FBLA State Competition

Carson Metcalf of The Central New York Weather Center, accompanied by his fellow
students at G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, won big at the FBLA state
competition in Rochester. Carson took top honors in the web design
competition for having built the best web site in New York.

Talks Weather with Mrs. Bennett's Second Grade

Carson recently took a trip back to his local elementary school to talk weather
with another class learning about the subject. This time is
was Mrs. Bennett's second grade. Carson took lots of questions, showed the
class how weather is predicted, and read a book on climate.

stations and taken up shadowing periodically with the NewsChannel 9 Storm Team.

Helps Fulton Win Big at District IX FBLA Competition

competition at Bryant and Stratton College. Carson took First
Place in the Introduction to Technology Concepts contest.

disagreements on both sides, and other undisclosed reasons, The Central New York
Weather Center's Carson Metcalf has ended his nearly 5-year run as a Meteorology
shadow at WTVH-TV in Syracuse.

Fair Friday, and
stopped by to see their friends Donna Adamo and Chief Meteorologist Tom Hauf of
WTVH, and Carson talked weather with Tom on the 5:30 show.

receive a prestigious award. The New York State-wide Volunteer of
the Year Award for 2007 was presented to Carson Metcalf, owner and
operator of The Central New York Weather Center.

Carson Metcalf recently took a trip over
to Lanigan Elementary School in Fulton to talk about weather with a third grade class. The students were very
excited to get to see Carson again after his departure from
forecasting duties at Lanigan.
