Major snowstorm dumps a total of 37 inches near Rutland, VT. Almost 2 feet at Portland, ME. Seven inches of sleet and snow at Hartford, CT.

South Carolina

1991

Early morning severe thunderstorm produced hail to 2.5 inches in diameter. Hardest hit was Lexington County.
